Quick version
Email privacy@dacitebrands.com from the address we hold for you, with the subject line "Delete my data." We will confirm within 5 business days and finish within 30 days. It costs nothing, and you don't need to give a reason.
Who this is for
- People who sent us an inquiry or otherwise corresponded with DACITE.
- Partners, prospects and contacts held in our records.
- People who commented on, messaged or were tagged in our social media channels.
- People who have, or had, an account in a DACITE-operated system, including contractors and collaborators.
- Owners of a social media account that was connected to a DACITE tool.
If you bought from or signed up with one of our portfolio brands, such as Corgi Outfitters, Lost State, We Mouse or Fat Head Outdoors, contact that brand through its own site. If you send us a request meant for a brand, we will pass it on.
How to request deletion
- Email us. Send it to privacy@dacitebrands.com with the subject "Delete my data." Use the address you gave us so we can match it to your records.
- Tell us what to look for. Your name, the email addresses you've used with us and, if you have one, your account name, the company you dealt with, or the social handle and platform. Tell us if you want everything deleted or only certain things.
- Don't send passwords, ID numbers or payment details. We will never ask for them by email.
- We verify it's you. We reply to the address on file and may ask a question only you could answer. For social accounts, we may ask you to message us from the account in question. If someone acts for you, we need your written authorisation.
- We delete and confirm. You get a written confirmation that says what was deleted and what, if anything, we kept and why.
If you connected a social media account
You can cut off our access yourself, at any time, without asking us. Remove DACITE from the connected apps or integrations in the platform's own settings (for example Facebook and Instagram: Settings, Apps and Websites; TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest each have an equivalent "connected apps" or "permissions" page). Revoking access stops us from receiving new data and invalidates the credentials we hold. To have the data we already received deleted, email us as above and name the platform and account. We delete the stored access credentials and any data received through that connection, within 30 days.
This page is DACITE's data deletion instruction for social platforms that require one. Deleting your data from our systems does not delete it from the platform, which you control through your own account.

What we may keep
The law sometimes requires or allows us to keep certain records. We keep only what it requires, only for as long as it requires, and tell you what it is:
- Financial and tax records of a transaction or contract with you, typically for 7 years.
- Signed agreements and legal records we need to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, or that are subject to a legal hold.
- Security and fraud-prevention records needed to protect our systems and other people.
- A minimal suppression record (your email address and the date) so we honor your request not to be contacted again. Without it we couldn't keep that promise.
Our accounting records are kept immutably by design and are never edited after the fact. Where one contains your name, we limit it to what is legally needed and restrict access. This page covers personal information only; it doesn't affect work product or intellectual property created under an agreement with us.
If you want less, not none
You don't have to delete everything. You can ask us to stop emailing you, correct something, or send you a copy of what we hold. Use the same address and say which you want.
Other things to know
- Deletion can't be undone. If you change your mind, you will need to send us your information again.
- We will tell any recipients we shared your data with, as the law requires, and ask them to delete it.
- If we decline all or part of your request, we will say why and how to appeal. You can also contact your state attorney general or, in Europe, your data protection authority.
- We will not penalise you for asking.
